A word from the President...

A NEW ERA FOR THE CLUB AND THE PSCA

Leederville Cricket Club enters our 73rd season with a great sense of anticipation

for the year ahead. Our competition has now grown to over 100 teams with the amalgamation of the Perth and Swan Helena Cricket Associations, and as such a new era has arrived with new clubs and new challenges ahead.

Coming off a season where 5 out of 8 teams played finals, now more than ever we need to raise the bar even higher if we want to achieve on field success, after all, that is what our club is all about - winning games of cricket.

Thanks to the many years of hard work from our junior committee we have never had so many talented young men now playing senior cricket. These future leaders are learning there craft from our seasoned veterans and combined together our future looks bright. We will again field 8 teams this year from 1st grade down and encourage all members regardless of ability  to get on board and enjoy the benefits of playing at such a large and successful club.

We have always had a fantastic social vibe down at Leedy and this year will be no
exception with the committee working very hard in the background to make it an
enjoyable place to be on and off the field.

Whilst our playing record speaks for itself and is without peer, it is the history and the  people at Leederville that make for a great club. We welcome all existing members and encourage anyone that is looking to play cricket and join a club to come down to

pre-season in September and get amongst the great atmosphere and be ready for the launch of the new season in early October.

Regards, Dave Proudmore
